I have a 6th grader and an eighth grader completing algebra 1. My eighth grader will be taking biology next year using the Apologia text. I recently heard a talk by Jay Wile stating that the math level should drive the science level. I called the Apologia number today and they told me to have my 7th grader (next year) also take biology. If I do that, can I count it for high school or should I just wait to start her in biology? I heard that you can start counting things in 7th grade. Can I count the math as well?
