I send in a very minimalist portfolio. What I did was include something in *either* the work samples or the list of reading materials every year.
When the school district sent me a letter stating they didnīt see evidence of this-or-that, I called and explained that it is not required to show each subject each year, but then pointed out where each could be found in the port.
I then followed up with a letter to the district explaining that, as discussed, it was not required to show every subject every year with quotes from the law.
They did not question me the next year, though I did have to repeat the process when we got a new superintendent.
