hi,

my name is matt Eskuche. i am a glassblower in Pittsburgh, PA. i live and practice my art in a non-profit artists co-operative called The Brewhouse on the southside of Pittsburgh. our mission as members of The Brewhouse is to connect the public with the arts through programs and events at our facility.

i am designing a new program for the Brewhouse geared towards home schooled children ages 10 and up. it will consist of a small group of students coming to my studio to hear a brief explanation of the history of glass, some of itīs technical and physical properties, and to view a couple short demonstrations. there would also be a chance for the students to have a quick try at melting the glass for themselves.

if this sounds of interest to anyone out there please let me know. i would really appreciate help in finding the right organization to approach with this program and possibly some help organizing details so it follows the format and appeal of other existing programs and follows any regulations that might exist within home schooling organizations.

thank you very much for your help and interest. i can be reached at 843 469 8342 or eskuche@hotmail.com

i look forward to hearing from you. -matt eskuche
