Thank you to everyone who followed up on my question about reviewing Fall test scores. I appreciate all of your input and advice.
My next question is regarding Spring Testing or Individual Testing. I hear a lot of you mention re-testing in the Spring but if I am not interested in the PSSA´s, what would my options be? I am not certain I would choose to do this, but would appreciate having the apporpriate info. should I decide to.
I also know that some families opt to do private or individual testing - sometimes even in their own home. How do I even go about this? Where would I order the tests and are there certain tests that are approved for this? I suppose since I already met my Dept. of Ed. requirement by having my son take the Terra Nova, I could just re-test in the Spring, privately, just to suit my own need to see how he is progressing in Math.
