This year, for the first time, we´ve taken December off. We´re doing school year round so Dec, April and Aug. are vacation months. It has really helped lighten the load during the holidays and we´ve enjoyed focusing more on our religious beliefs and customs. As a side benefit, I´ve started to notice the kids ( and me too) actually, missing school! We think we miss the routine...so it has been a wonderful break but we are looking forward to starting up again. Hope this was helpful!
