Day Apart & Curriculum Fair

The planning for our 2010 Erie Area Day Apart and Curriculum Fair is well under way! Please mark this day on your calendar: Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 8am to 3pm at Grace Church in McKean (just north of Millcreek).
Registration forms and Used Book Guide Lines are now available. You can download them from the Yahoo email loop http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eriecountyhomeschool/
The cost is as follows: Preregistered $10/ individual or $16/couple, At the Door $12/individual or $20/couple.
Pre-registrations must be received by March 1, 2010 and can be sent to Ellen Fichera at 3544 Breezeway Drive, Erie, PA 16506.
The event will feature our Key Note Speaker, Joe Waresak (Seek First Ministries), as well as sessions on discipleship, special learners, home education styles, finances, and homeschooling through high school. The New Vendor Hall will be open all day for browsing and purchasing directly from a variety of companies. The large Used Book Area will also be open from 9:30-11:30am for the sale and purchase of used curriculum.

We will have fliers and bulletin inserts available if you are able to help spread the news about the fair. Volunteers serving during the day of the fair will receive 50% off the registration fee and early used book shopping.
Our goal is to reach out to Home Educators throughout the tri-state area. We can be a support and an encouragement to one another. Begin now to look forward to our “Day Apart”.
