If you want to test anytime you can do so at home using several tests. We have used the CAT tests that we have bought from Seton Home School Study School.
You (the parent, teacher) cannot administer them yourself but your older child or sister, friend, etc. can. There are other tests available elsewhere also.
I always test in the spring.
