Jamie,
Your school district cannot stop you from homeschooling so long as you do the required paperwork and really educate your children. The only people having any trouble with school districts are people not educating their children and people who follow what is called "minimal documentation methods." The homeschool law protects you if you educate your children and show that you are doing so.
If you follow the documentation methods described in our Guide to PA Homeschool Law (just $4.95 if you click on "Enter Store"), you won´t have any problems.
