In part due to low numbers of entries
in the Homeschool Excellence Day Project Fair this year, and also to no real
legislative agenda to encourage people to meet with their legislators right
now, we have decided to CANCEL our plans for this year´s
Homeschool Excellence Day, previously set for Tuesday, October 17th.
We also realize that many families
are opting to avoid long car trips so that they can conserve gas these days,
and will appreciate taking advantage instead of ´closer to home´ homeschool
project fairs and events, and to keeping in touch with their state legislators
at their home offices rather than during a trip to Harrisburg.
We hope this isn´t
a disappointment to families that were planning on coming, but just hadn´t yet registered. We will of course reimburse the
project fees from those families who have registered already.

Excellence Day, when we encouraged passage of the Homeschool Extra-Curricular
Activities bill that passed very shortly afterwards, was extremely successful.

homeschoolers, was truly remarkable. When there is another need for legislative
lobbying in
Thanks for everyone´s
strong support of Homeschool Excellence Day over the last decade-- it´s been a wonderful way to keep a presence in
