Judging Criteria for Homeschool Excellence Day Projects

Judges will score each project with a total of 100 points possible according to the following criteria:

History/Geography Projects

·         Originality (10)

·         Historical/Geographical Accuracy (30)

·         Clarity (20)

·         Workmanship (20)

·         Appearance and Appeal (20)

 

Science Display Projects

·         Originality (10)

·         Scientific Accuracy (30)

·         Clarity (20)

·         Workmanship (20)

·         Appearance and Appeal (20)


Science Projects

·         Originality (10)

·         Scientific Approach (30)

·         Clarity (20)

·         Workmanship (20)

·         Appearance and Appeal (20)


Art Projects

·         Originality (10)

·         Use of Medium (20)

·         Technique (40)

·         Appearance and Appeal (30)

 

Service Activities & Entrepreneurship

·         Originality of Business or Service (10)

·         Time Spent in Creating/Planning and Operating Business or Service (30)

·         Display of Leadership Qualities (30)

·         Workmanship (20)

·         Appearance and Appeal of Display (10)

 

Judges are needed in all areas. Please volunteer to be a judge. You will be assigned to an area that your children are not participating in.
