In what may turn out to be one of the nastiest anti-Christian pieces yet to air on mainstream television, CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour is going to compare Christians who homeschool in the United States to Moslem jihadis (i.e. terrorists) in a special called God´s Warriors on CNN. The special is set to air at 11pm Friday in Australia. I don´t know when it will air in the United States.
The intellectual bankruptsy of the main stream media couldn´t be more evident than this. Applying the term "jihadis" to Christians is entirely uncalled for.
The above photo of Ron Luce is used by Amanpour to make her point. In this picture, Christian leader Ron Luce is calling on teenagers to fight for "virtue." I very much doubt, however, if he is trying to get them to murder innocent "infidels," as Moslem jihadist leaders do!
Here´s a selection from a review by Brad Newsome of the upcoming show in the Sidney (Australia) Morning Herald:
Over the course of the program Amanpour shows the breadth and determination of conservative Christian movement in the US, from an overview of the White House´s filling of Supreme Court vacancies with hardline conservatives to her visit with some of the two million American children who are home-schooled for protection against such things as the theory of evolution.HowardThen it´s on to a huge, Van Halen-esque arena show by BattleCry ministry founder Ron Luce, pictured, who exhorts his teenage followers to fight the "virtue terrorists" of the secular world.
