The Richmans, who do this site, set up testing on specific dates for homeschoolers, so you may be interested in looking into that...there appears to be a button on the sidebar "Spring Testing" that may help.
I´ve personally found that Seton Home Study sells the CAT test (one of the state approved ones) for about $25.00 or so, and they are quick about returning the results, too. You just have to have someone other than you give it to your child(ren). You can find Seton on the web. We´ve used them twice, and they are really easy to work with.
