We received a letter from our State College school district requiring children grades 3-8 and 11 to be assessed in reading math. It says in the letter, "exemption from testing can be granted based only on a conflict with religious beliefs." My question is do we have to do this? Is this across PA or just State College? Is this in place of testing in 3rd, 5th, and 8th? My child is in the 4th grade so I wasn´t planning on testing this year. Can anyone give me imput into this? Thanks!
