I currently reside with my daughter and grandson. My daughter homeschooled briefly a few years ago and is considering taking my grandson out of public school to homeschool for a number of reasons. I am the primary caregiver while she is at work. She has a full time job and we wanted to know if I can teach him. We are aware that teaching can take place at any time of the day, but she is often gone for 9 hours or more and it would be much easier if I am allowed to be a teacher. I have a high school diploma and 2 AS degrees as well as credits towards a BA.
