Samantha, shown in the above photo, is 5´6" and 120 lbs. She has straight blond hair, hazel eyes, and a tattoo on her right shoulder. Her belly button and ear are pierced. If you see her, please notify the police. Here´s a selection from a story by Melanie VanDerveer in today´s Pocono Record:
It sounds more and more like a familiar, sad story: Girl finds boyfriend, family dislikes boyfriend, family forbids romance, girl and boy run away.HowardThat doesn´t make it any easier for the family of Samantha Palovich, of Bushkill. It might even make it worse.
"She didn´t leave with anything. She has no money and hasn´t shown up for work in five days," John Palovich said of his daughter, Samantha, who has been missing since last Thursday.
The 17-year-old Pine Ridge resident has not been heard from since Wednesday night and her family is worried that something bad has happened. The family believes that she is with her boyfriend, Michael Renaldo Rodriguez, also 17. The state police think that´s likely, also.
According to the family, they told Samantha three weeks ago that she could no longer associate with Rodriguez....
The teens have been dating for more than two years and it was never a good situation, according to the Palovich family.
"He eliminated all of her friends. He even talked her into leaving school," Palovich said. They have been cyber homeschooling Samantha because of Rodriguez....
Samantha has been working at the Stroudsburg McDonald´s for more than a month and seemed very proud of her job....
State police apparently believe she´s with the boyfriend, noting in their press release that "she may be traveling with a juvenile male companion."...
