This issue of our print newsletter, ´Pennsylvania Homeschoolers´ is just about ready to go to our printer. You´ll love the focus this issue on how homeschoolers are using the Internet in so many varied ways to extend their learning, their ability to keep in touch with and collaborate with others, and to create unique projects. Ever heard about NaNoWriMo??? Or using a Yahoo group for kids to join forces to create a novel? Or wondering about history resources online? Wanting to know about sites your younger kids can use to learn to read-- or learn about the latest NASA space project or astronomical event to watch outside? Heard about Google Earth-- and did you know that even 8-year-olds can enjoy it? Wondering if online classes might be a good change of pace? Trying to find helps for your special needs child?
All this, and more, is in this upcoming issue-- along with all the features you enjoy-- the 4-page BackPack section of children´s writings, more ´Math by Kids´ problems to challenge your children, legal updates in PA (there are a couple...), evaluator listings, and more.
We´ll also have Fall Testing registration info-- and we´ll soon have this up online here also. Keep posted on our message board for the announcement!
So, head over to our online store, to renew or begin your subscription to our print newsletter ´Pennsylvania Homeschoolers´-- and enjoy the learning!
