If Iīm correct here, your daughter is starting kindergarten, then you donīt have to deal with the school district at all. You donīt even have to tell them a thing, register her, nothing at all, until she is 8. As far as curriculum, keep it simple and relaxed. Lots of books, stories, crafts, games, songs...etc. I donīt think kindergarten counts as credits towards first grade, b/c there arenīt credits in first grade either.
