Help!!! Can anyone recommend an evaluator who isn´t too strict? My son has been having a tough year with his work, and I don´t want to push him too hard just to have a nice looking portfolio. He has been working every day, but sometimes (especially with math) it takes him a long time to grasp a concept. This is my first year home schooling "legally", so I´m very nervous.
I would really like an evaluator who understands these issues. I´m in the East Stroudsburg school district, but I live pretty far from East Stroudsburg. I need an evaluator who will do a distance evaluation over the phone.
All the evaluators I´ve been finding seem obsessed with "Excellence". I´m afraid I´ll get one who will expect too much of my son. In some areas he his right at grade level, but in other areas he is below.
I´m kinda freaking out!
