An article by Amanda Palleschi in the Harrisburg Patriot News tells the story. Here is how it begins:
It´s still uncertain when the H1N1, or swine flu, vaccine will become available to students in the Mechanicsburg Area School District, but the school board voted unanimously Tuesday night to hire a Georgia firm to administer the vaccinations.
Care Dynamix, also known as Flu Busters, will provide all shots, paper work, cleanup and storage involved with the project. The Roswell, Ga.-based company charges $15 per student.
Mechanicsburg Superintendent Joseph Hood said he has asked the state for 4,500 doses of the vaccine, but the district likely will receive them on a staggered basis. It should have all 4,500 by January, Hood said.
