HB 1013 passed the House today. It awaits Governor Corbett's signature.

The homeschool bill, HB 1013, passed the PA House of Representtives today. The vote ws 129 to 68. It is sure to be signed by Governor Corbett before the election.
This means that you won't have to turn in your portfolio, just your evaluation letter next spring. It also means that parents and evaluators will be able to award a diploma to their graduates this spring using a diploma form that will be on the PDE website. It also means that PDE recognition of the homeschool organizations will continue ss a matter of law, not just policy.
